Job summary :

As an IT Technician - Operations Support, you will provide first-line technical support for users and computerized systems in a manufacturing production environment. You will intervene directly on production equipment, workstations and peripherals to ensure the availability and compliance of operations. Rigor and compliance with procedures are at the heart of this role.

5-day face-to-face position at our customer's site in Montreal.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage support tickets, service requests and incident records in accordance with documentation procedures
  • Administer user accounts, access requests and password resets in Active Directory and on production equipment, in compliance with access control policies
  • Maintain IT infrastructure inventory and Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
  • Export electronic files in accordance with approved procedures and compliance requirements
  • Perform preventive maintenance on end-user equipment and peripherals
  • Assist engineering and automation teams with basic troubleshooting, system restarts, equipment checks and connectivity validation
  • Keep documentation up to date

Technical requirements :

  • Windows workstation administration
  • Basic Active Directory administration
  • System maintenance activities (patches, upgrades, lifecycle management, inventory management)
  • Hardware management and support (workstations, tablets, peripherals)
  • IT troubleshooting and incident resolution
  • Coordination with external suppliers and service providers on occasion
