Job summary :

The successful candidate will work in a variety of client environments. They may be assigned to fixed-term, part-time, or full-time assignments, in addition to participating in infrastructure projects and supporting clients in resolving complex incidents.

This position is offered on a hybrid basis, combining remote work, work at our offices, and on-site visits to clients.

Main responsibilities:

  • Administer, maintain, and optimize our clients' system and network infrastructure;
  • Take on temporary assignments with clients, either part-time or full-time;
  • Participate in infrastructure migration, modernization, and deployment projects;
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to servers, networks, virtualization, and cloud services;
  • Advise clients on the performance, reliability, security, and evolution of their environments;
  • Support other team members during procedures that require advanced expertise;
  • Configure and maintain backup, monitoring, and disaster recovery solutions;
  • Document the environments, configurations, and actions taken;
  • Provide professional follow-up to the clients and partners involved.

Technical requirements :

  • At least eight years of experience in systems and network administration;
    • Any combination of training and experience deemed equivalent will be considered. 
  • High degree of autonomy and the ability to quickly adapt to a client's environment;
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft environments:
    • Windows Server;
    • Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy;
    • Microsoft 365 and Entra ID;
  • Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or another virtualization platform;
  • Solid knowledge of networking: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs, Wi-Fi, and firewalls;
  • Experience with backup, monitoring, and disaster recovery solutions;
  • A solid understanding of cybersecurity practices;
  • Ability to automate certain tasks using PowerShell;
  • Experience in consulting, managed services, or working with multiple client environments is considered an asset.
